Welcome To Our College
Two Best Practices
In Bundelkhand region, ‘Manikpur’ is surrounded by mostly socio-economically backward class of society. Our degree college stands amidst of it as a single ray of hope for the students. But we notice a kind of lack of self confidence in the students, taking admission here. Hence, keeping the facts in view, various socio-cultural and reformative programs are organised time and again in order to develop self confidence in the students.
In this continuous process, recently we have organised programs like Yuwa-Mahotsava quiz, debate and speech competition, mehandi, rangoli, solo-acting, play, singing, Parimal (Annual Cultural Programme ) birth anniversary of great personalities and cultural and cleanliness activities. Apart from this also celebrated and displayed various important days such as national integration day, constitution day, Fit India movement and ‘Man ki Bat’ of Honourable Prime Minister and various addressing by Honourable Chief Minister. Out of these activities confidence level of students and their presence and participation in college activities increased to a considerable extent. And thus, lagging behind the backwardness of Bundelkhand , our college students (boys & girls) now feel, shining of a new energy and self-confidence.
Meanwhile, all the same, with the commencement of “Eco-Girls” female students of the college are awakened towards protection and preservation of the enviornment. ‘Eco-Girls’ (ECO GIRLS- Environmental and Cultural Organisation of Girls ) has emphasized and strengthened the feeling of gender equality among the female students. With reference to gender equality a unique programme was supervised by S.P chitrakoot District. On women’s helpline no- 1090 wherein they can seek help from the police anytime.
